Conversol MLV Low Voltage 6kW - 110/120VAC/60Hz

 Knowing well the power requirements in the USA, Puerto Rico and Canada, we developed a solar inverter with split-phase ac input and out at 110V to 120VAC. The inverter has also an integrated MPPT battery charger. With the parallel function that is now standard on this version (no need to purchase additional hardware) , it is possible to expand the system to up to 18kW. That means 3 identical inverters may be connected in parallel.

We also increased the range of PV power from 4kW to 8kW with a dual-mppt PV input. Each solar inverter can accept up to 4000W of PV panels. Polycrystalline or monocrystalline panels from 100W to 400W are compatible with the inverter provided that the maximum voltage of 145V is respected. 

The MLV6K is a true split phase inverter without additional hardware the output voltages are 110V/120V L-N or L2-N-L2. 

When the phase angle between L1 and L2 is 0°.  L1-N and L2-N = 120V.  L1-L2 = 0V

When the phase angle between L1 and L2 is 120°.L1-N and L2-N 120V.  L1-L2 = 208V

When the phase angle between L1 and L2 is 180°. L1-N and L2-N 120V.  L1-L2 = 240V

AC Input: Connection to Generator or AC Grid
  • The generator should be a size 1.5 time the power rating of the inverter for smooth and stable operation. It is also recommended to use the oversized generator to reduce the risk of overloading.
  • Inverter-generator and pure sine wave gen-sets are recommended. Generators with modified sine wave output are not suitable.
