We added a bit of intelligence to our highly efficient panels. This innovative 310W solar panel from Voltacon comes with the latest Tigo Optimiser. This device mounts on any solar panel with no screws needed and can boost power output by up to 30 percent. Throughout the day, your solar panels won't always receive full sun, whether it is due to clouds in the sky or shadows from a tree on your property. On cloudy days, the optimiser can increase energy production by up to 10 per cent.
Even if the sun is shining, you'll still get that 10-per cent bump. You'll really see the benefits if you have large trees blocking the sun, as the optimiser can deliver up to 30 per cent more power. It comes with a 25-year performance warranty as well.
It is also recommended to use the Gateway and the Cloud Connect. The Optimiser has built-in monitoring and safety, these features are activated when you use the Gateway and the Cloud Connect (also known as CCA Kit). Once you have this, your upgrade with module-level monitoring, module level safety (0volts within 10secs) and optimisation (to mitigate the effects of shading, soiling, failures) - it's really a no brainer to upgrade from a dumb system to a smart system that gives you all the mentioned features and it's huge benefits.
