The Pylontech Force H3X FH3X6K-HY-1P is a high performance single phase hybrid inverter and battery storage system designed for solar self-consumption, grid import and export, smart energy tariffs and backup power applications.
This 6kW hybrid inverter operates in parallel with the grid, allowing it to supply household appliances, charge the battery from solar panels and export surplus energy back to the grid. Using the dedicated backup power port, the inverter can also operate as a UPS style backup supply or off-grid power source for selected essential loads during a mains power cut.
Super Fast Installation in 15min
The Force H3X system is designed for simple installation and fast commissioning, with Pylontech promoting a simplified installation process of around 15 minutes when the site is correctly prepared by a qualified installer.
The inverter, BMS and energy management system are highly integrated into one compact unit. This reduces installation time, removes unnecessary external wiring and creates a clean, safe and professional energy storage system for modern homes.
High Voltage FH10050 Battery System
The FH3X6K-HY-1P works with Pylontech FH10050 high voltage lithium battery modules. These 100V class LiFePO4 battery modules are stacked vertically below the inverter and communicate through the built-in BMS system.
For this single phase 6kW model, the battery storage can be configured using FH10050 modules to create a compact, scalable high voltage battery system. The wider Force H3X platform supports larger battery groups and can be expanded for residential and small commercial applications, subject to system design and manufacturer limits.
Wire Free Battery Installation
One of the key advantages of the Force H3X system is the wire-free battery connection design. The battery modules are mounted vertically under the inverter and connected through an internal bus bar system.
This means there is no need to wire separate battery power cables or external BMS communication cables between the inverter and battery modules. The main incoming connections are from the solar panels and the 230V grid supply, making the installation cleaner, faster and safer.
Complete Energy Solution for Import and Export
The Force H3X can be integrated with the home electrical supply using a current transformer (CT clamp). The CT allows the inverter to monitor grid import and export power, helping the system automatically adjust charging, discharging and export behaviour according to the property's energy demand.
An external Eastron meter is not normally required for standard CT operation, although it can still be used where the installer or system design requires it. The installer simply connects the CT two-wire output to the inverter communication terminal.
This makes the system suitable for solar self-consumption, grid export and smart energy tariffs, including time-of-use tariffs from suppliers such as Octopus Energy and E.ON where supported by the system setup.
Intelligent Dynamic Mode Summary
Intelligent Dynamic mode is designed to optimise battery charging and discharging according to electricity tariff changes. With the correct Pylontech app version, Force H3X BMS firmware and tariff settings, the system can use time-of-use pricing or automated tariff synchronisation to adjust its energy strategy. During high tariff periods, solar PV and battery power support the home first, then charge the battery and export surplus energy. During mid tariff periods, PV power is prioritised for household loads while the battery is preserved where possible. During low tariff periods, the system can charge the battery from the grid when electricity is cheaper. This helps homeowners make better use of solar energy, battery storage and smart import tariffs.

Notes: When the ambient temperature exceeds 45°C, the PCS will reduce the power. When the altitude exceeds 2000m, the PCS will degrade the power.
Return Policy
xWe offer a 14-day, no-quibble returns or replacement policy because we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase.
If you are unhappy in any way with your purchase, you can return it for a refund or a replacement, as long as you return it in the same condition as it arrived (original/undamaged packaging and product) and within 30 days of receiving it. We will pay for your return postage on a faulty item as long as you send it using Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery (for EU or International Shipments, you have to use our UPS account, we will provide you with a return label)
Please keep in mind the following:
- Items returned within 14 days but not in their original and undamaged packaging will also incur a -15% charge per package.
- If you return an item that doesn't adhere to our returns procedure or doesn't include a returns form, you may be liable for a £10 administration fee
- Individual items from a bundle can't be returned, refunded or exchanged. If you want a refund/credit/exchange for a bundle, all items must be returned to us.
Before you return your item, please make sure that:
- You follow our returns process (outlined below)
- The goods and packaging are undamaged
IMPORTANT: We need to be able to identify an item with your order. We can only do this if you follow our returns process. Please do not send us items back that do not follow this process as they cannot be identified properly and will not be replaced or refunded.
What delivery method do I need to use when returning an item?
You must send the goods back to us via Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery. Refunds on faulty items returned are reimbursed within 5 working days.
Can I return just one item from multiple purchases?
Yes. Once you start the returns process you will go to a page that will allow you to choose which items you want to be replaced or refunded.
Returning faulty goods
If your item is faulty, you need to follow the returns policy, where you will be able to state that it’s faulty. The product will then arrive at our warehouse for testing.
If your purchase is not within 14 days
You can still exchange your item for a different product or for credit to use on the Voltacon Solar or Ledison-led-lights.co.uk websites (-15% from the credit amount).
Returns outside of the 14-day period do not qualify for the free returns policy.
Returning an item within the warranty
If you have a warranty and want to return a faulty item, you just need to follow our standard returns process. When we receive your item, we will then check that it’s within warranty and for any faults before arranging a replacement.
