Description
xVictron Lithium SuperPack 25.6V / 200Ah NG
The Victron Lithium SuperPack 25.6V/200Ah NG is a self-contained lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery designed for off-grid, marine and mobile power applications. It integrates a battery management system (BMS) directly into the unit, removing the need for external BMS hardware. At 5,120Wh of usable capacity, it suits installations where a single high-capacity 24V battery is required.
Key Features
- 25.6V nominal lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry, offering a stable discharge curve and long cycle life compared to lead-acid alternatives.
- 200Ah capacity, providing 5,120Wh of energy storage at 24V nominal voltage.
- Integrated BMS handles cell balancing, over-charge protection, over-discharge protection and short-circuit protection without requiring external management hardware.
- NG (New Generation) series with updated internal architecture for improved reliability and performance consistency.
- Weighs 37kg, significantly lighter than an equivalent lead-acid battery bank of the same capacity.
- Designed for direct parallel connection, allowing capacity to be scaled by connecting multiple units.
- Compatible with Victron inverters, inverter/chargers and MPPT solar charge controllers operating on a 24V system.
Product Overview
The SuperPack NG series differs from Victron's Smart Lithium range in that the BMS is fully internal and the battery operates as a standalone unit. There is no requirement to wire an external BMS, configure a VE.Bus BMS or add a separate battery protect device for basic protection. This makes it a practical choice for straightforward 24V installations where simplicity and compactness matter, such as narrowboats, motorhomes, off-grid cabins and backup power systems.
LiFePO4 chemistry is inherently more thermally stable than other lithium chemistries, which is relevant in enclosed or mobile installations where temperature management is limited. The flat discharge curve means the battery delivers close to its rated voltage across most of its state of charge, which benefits inverters and other loads that are sensitive to voltage drop. The integrated BMS disconnects the battery under fault conditions, protecting both the battery and connected equipment.
Parallel connection is supported, so two or more units can be combined to increase total capacity on the same 24V bus. Series connection is not supported and must not be attempted. Charge parameters must be set correctly on any connected charger or inverter/charger to match LiFePO4 requirements, not lead-acid profiles.

Installation Notes
Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator familiar with lithium battery systems. Ensure all connected chargers, inverter/chargers and solar charge controllers are configured with LiFePO4 charge profiles before commissioning. Do not connect in series. Verify that fusing and cabling are rated appropriately for the battery's maximum discharge current. For marine installations, follow the relevant BMEA or RYA wiring guidelines. This battery is not suitable for use in grid-connected systems.
