Description
xVictron Lithium SuperPack 51.2V 100Ah NG
The Victron Lithium SuperPack 51.2V/100Ah NG is a self-contained lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery with an integrated battery management system. It is designed for off-grid, marine and mobile applications where a compact, ready-to-use 48V lithium battery is required without the need for an external BMS.
Key Features
- 51.2V nominal voltage with 100Ah capacity, giving 5.12kWh of usable energy storage.
- Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) chemistry provides stable cell voltage, long cycle life and inherent thermal stability.
- Integrated BMS handles cell balancing, over-charge, over-discharge, over-temperature and short-circuit protection without external components.
- NG (New Generation) series with updated internal electronics and improved communication compatibility.
- Designed for series and parallel connection to scale capacity or voltage where the application demands it.
- Weight of 37kg in a single enclosure, making it suitable for fixed installations where space and weight are managed.
- Compatible with Victron charge controllers, inverter/chargers and the wider Victron ecosystem.
Product Overview
The SuperPack NG differs from modular Victron lithium batteries in that the BMS is built directly into the battery enclosure. This removes the need to purchase, wire and configure a separate BMS unit, which simplifies installation in straightforward off-grid or backup systems. The integrated BMS communicates with compatible Victron equipment to coordinate charging and load management.
LiFePO4 chemistry is well suited to deep-cycle applications. It tolerates partial state-of-charge operation better than lead-acid alternatives and delivers a significantly higher number of charge cycles over its service life. The 51.2V (16-cell) configuration is the standard 48V lithium format and works directly with 48V Victron MultiPlus, Quattro and MPPT charge controllers without voltage conversion.
The NG designation indicates this is the current production revision. It includes updated internal communication hardware relative to the earlier SuperPack generation. Installers should verify firmware compatibility with existing Victron equipment before commissioning.

Installation Notes
Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or accredited installer with experience in lithium battery systems. High-voltage DC battery installations carry serious safety risks if wired incorrectly. Ensure all interconnecting cables, fusing and disconnects are rated for the system voltage and maximum discharge current. Verify compatibility between the SuperPack NG firmware and your Victron charge sources before commissioning. Do not mix battery chemistries or connect with non-compatible BMS systems.
