Description
xVictron Inverter 24/375 230V VE.Direct IEC
The Victron Inverter 24/375 is a compact 24V DC to 230V AC pure sine wave inverter designed for off-grid and mobile power applications. It is aimed at professional installers and system integrators who need a reliable, communications-capable inverter in a small form factor. With a 375VA continuous output and VE.Direct connectivity, it integrates cleanly into Victron monitoring ecosystems.
Key Features
- 375VA continuous output from a 24V DC battery bank, converting to 230V AC sine wave output.
- VE.Direct port enables direct communication with Victron monitoring devices, including the Color Control GX and Venus GX.
- IEC AC output socket for straightforward connection to standard European and UK appliances.
- Pure sine wave output suitable for sensitive electronics, motors and inductive loads.
- Compact and lightweight design at 3.25 kg, suited to space-constrained installations such as vehicles, boats and small off-grid cabinets.
- Built-in protections covering low battery voltage shutdown, over-temperature and overload, reducing the risk of damage to the inverter and connected loads.
- Low idle power consumption, which is important in battery-dependent systems where standby draw affects overall autonomy.
Product Overview
The 24/375 sits at the entry level of Victron's VE.Direct inverter range. The 24V input voltage makes it appropriate for systems built around 24V battery banks, which are common in marine, vehicle and small off-grid installations where a higher nominal voltage is preferred over 12V for efficiency at moderate power levels. At 375VA, the unit is suited to powering individual loads such as lighting circuits, small appliances, routers, CCTV equipment or control panels rather than whole-property supply.
The VE.Direct interface is a key practical feature for professional installations. It allows the inverter to be monitored and controlled via Victron's GX device ecosystem, feeding data into VRM (Victron Remote Management) for remote visibility. This is particularly useful in unattended off-grid or backup installations where remote monitoring of inverter status is a requirement. The IEC output format is standard for European markets and compatible with UK appliances using an appropriate IEC lead.
Victron's inverter protection stack on this unit includes automatic shutdown on low battery voltage, overload and over-temperature conditions. These protections are essential in battery systems where deep discharge or sustained overload can cause permanent damage. The inverter resets automatically once fault conditions clear, which reduces the need for manual intervention in remote installations.

- Off-grid cabins and shelters requiring a single 230V AC output from a 24V battery bank.
- Marine and narrowboat installations where 24V DC systems are already in place.
- Vehicle conversions (campervan, motorhome, specialist vehicle) needing a compact 230V source.
- Telecoms, CCTV and remote monitoring equipment powered from a 24V battery backup system.
- Small solar-plus-storage systems where a GX device is used for system monitoring via VRM.
What Is Included
- Victron Inverter 24/375 230V VE.Direct IEC unit
Installation Notes
This inverter should be installed by a qualified electrician or experienced system integrator. DC wiring from the battery bank must be correctly rated for the current draw at 24V and protected with an appropriately sized fuse or circuit breaker as close to the battery as practical. The IEC AC output is not intended for connection to a building's fixed wiring without appropriate isolation and compliance with BS 7671. For any grid-tied or grid-backup application, consult a qualified installer to ensure compliance with applicable UK regulations. VE.Direct cable is not included and must be sourced separately if monitoring integration is required.
